本日、2026年6月8日より、公式オンラインストアにて新作「3-Part Feather, Harmony」のカスタムオーダー受注を開始いたしました。
3-Part Feather, Harmonyは、フライトフェザーを3つのパートに分け、それぞれ異なる素材を組み合わせることで生まれた新しいカスタムオーダーモデルです。3つのパートをそれぞれのバランスで構成することで、それぞれの素材が持つ色味や質感、個性をより楽しめるデザインに仕上げました。
使用できる素材は、TaroWashimiで取り扱うすべての地金から自由に選択可能です。素材の組み合わせによって印象は大きく変わり、持ち主の個性を表現する一本を製作することができます。
また、3-Part Feather, Harmonyでは芯部分も3つのパートで構成されています。フェザー本体から芯まで統一された素材の流れを持たせることで、より完成度の高いデザインに仕上げました。
製作においては、単純に3つのパーツを組み合わせているわけではありません。素材ごとに硬度や熱伝導率、ロウ付け時の膨張率などが異なるため、それぞれの特性を考慮しながら精密に擦り合わせ、組み上げていきます。
さらに仕上げ工程では、異なる素材を使用しているにもかかわらず、まるで一体で製作されたかのような自然なつながりを実現するため、細部まで丁寧に磨き上げます。高い技術力と経験が求められる、非常に難易度の高い製作工程です。
3つのパートを分けることで、それぞれの素材が持つ魅力やコントラストを最大限に引き出しながらも、フライトフェザーらしい美しいシルエットを保っています。

3-Part Feather, Harmony
The 3-Part Feather, Harmony expands upon the Flight Feather series by combining three different materials within a single feather. Divided into three equal sections, the design celebrates the balance and harmony between each material, allowing their unique colors, textures, and character to stand side by side. With every material available within the TaroWashimi collection available for selection, each feather can be customized to reflect the individuality and preferences of its wearer.
Unlike traditional multi-material feathers, where the shaft is typically crafted from a single material, the 3-Part Feather, Harmony extends the three-material composition throughout the entire piece, with the color transition continuing seamlessly through the shaft itself. This creates a unified design that highlights the beauty of each material from top to bottom.
Bringing three different metals together into a single feather requires far more than simply joining separate parts. Each material possesses unique characteristics, including differences in hardness, heat conductivity, and expansion rates during the soldering process. Every section must be carefully fitted and soldered with these factors in mind, ensuring a seamless integration of the three materials.
The finishing process demands an equally high level of precision. Each feather is meticulously polished so that the transitions between the materials appear natural and unified, as though the piece were originally formed from a single metal. This level of craftsmanship requires exceptional technical skill and attention to detail.
By dividing the feather into three equal sections, the distinctive qualities of each material are given equal presence. The balanced composition allows the colors, textures, and contrasts of the metals to be fully appreciated while maintaining the elegant silhouette of the Flight Feather.
